It’s funny how GTA V keeps finding ways to feel fresh. Even if you’re not touching Online every night, there’s something new to mess with. A fan-made remake of the old co-op job “A Safehouse in the Hills” has now been turned into a proper single-player mission for Michael, and it actually fits the base game shockingly well. For players who still spend more time in story mode than browsing GTA 5 Accounts or chasing the latest online grind, this is the kind of mod that feels worth loading up for. It doesn’t play like some rough experiment either. It feels intentional, like a mission Rockstar might’ve left on the cutting-room floor.

What makes the solo mission click
The best part is how naturally it suits Michael. He’s always been the character most tied to that polished, expensive side of Los Santos, so a job set in the hills already feels right in his lane. The rework doesn’t just dump the old online objective into story mode and call it a day. It adds pacing, cleaner mission flow, and that more focused single-player vibe people miss. You’re not waiting on random teammates. You’re not dealing with the usual co-op chaos. It’s just a tighter experience, and that changes everything. If you’ve been craving one more excuse to revisit the campaign, this is probably it.

This week’s money is in the smoke
Online players, though, have their own reason to log in. The current event is going hard on the 420 theme, and the rewards are honestly ridiculous. “Smoke on the Water” Legal Work is paying out 10x GTA$ and RP, which is the sort of bonus that makes even casual players stop what they’re doing. After that, there’s 2x cash and RP on Counterfeit Cash sell missions, Street Dealer weed sales, and the Community Race Series. Then there’s the weekly challenge: win Hunting Pack (Get Lamar) two times and you’ll get a $100,000 bonus along with the Guffy Drug Rug Hoodie. It’s a busy week, but in a good way. Nearly everything feels worth your time.

Deals, rewards, and the usual little temptations
Once the money starts piling up, the discounts make it pretty easy to burn through it again. Counterfeit Cash Factories and their upgrades are down by 40%, while the Smoke on the Water Money Front is 50% off. A few solid vehicles are cheaper too, including the Enus Deity, Progen Itali GTB, and Grotti Cheetah at 30% off. If you’d rather earn something than buy it, finishing in the top two at the LS Car Meet for three days in a row gets you the Truffade Adder. The Diamond Casino podium car this week is the Vulcar Warrener HKR, which is a decent reason to take your daily spin seriously for once.

When you want a break from the grind
The Gun Van is also worth checking, mostly because free gear is free gear. You can grab a baseball bat for nothing, and the Battle Rifle has been cut by 50%. GTA+ members get a free stun gun and 70% off body armor, which isn’t bad at all. Still, not every session has to be about maxing profit. Sometimes it’s more fun to slow down, play a round of golf, or throw yourself into one of those long triathlons that somehow still hold up. That mix is why Los Santos keeps people around. And if you’re the sort of player who likes shortcuts for currency or in-game items between sessions, RSVSR is one of those names you’ll probably hear come up for exactly that reason.
